Waevin Live
Community Guidelines & Terms

Waevin Live is a live streaming platform built for UK trading card collectors. These guidelines apply to all streamers and viewers. By using Waevin Live you agree to these terms alongside the main Waevin Terms of Service.
1. Streamer Requirements
- You must be 18 years or older to stream on Waevin Live.
- You must complete identity verification via Persona before your application is reviewed.
- You must be a UK resident.
- You must have an active Waevin account in good standing with no unresolved disputes.
- You are responsible for all content broadcast from your stream.
2. What You Can Stream
- Trading card pack openings, box breaks, and single card showcases.
- Card condition reviews, grading discussions, and collection showcases.
- Live auctions for cards — buyers bid and pay through Waevin's secure payment system.
- Q&A sessions and educational content about trading cards.
- Pack break events where slots are sold and cards opened on stream.
3. What Is Not Permitted
- Streaming content unrelated to trading cards without prior approval from Waevin.
- Selling cards outside of the Waevin platform during or in connection with a stream.
- Misrepresenting card condition, authenticity, or value on stream.
- Streaming counterfeit, altered, or tampered cards.
- Accepting payment outside of Waevin's payment system for stream-related sales.
- Conducting pack breaks where slots are sold but the break does not take place.
- Abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or sexually explicit content.
- Streaming under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Infringing third-party intellectual property rights.
- Any content that violates UK law.
4. Pack Break Rules
- You must open the product purchased within 30 days of selling all slots.
- The product opened must match what was described when selling slots.
- You must ship buyers' cards within 5 working days of the break completing.
- Randomisation must be performed using Waevin's built-in randomisation tool.
- You may not keep or re-list cards that belong to a paid slot without the buyer's consent.
- If a break cannot proceed, all slot buyers must be refunded in full.
5. Auction Rules
- Auctions you start on stream are binding — if a buyer wins, you must fulfil the sale.
- Starting bids must reflect a genuine price you are willing to sell at.
- You may not cancel an auction after a bid has been placed without Waevin's approval.
- Reserve prices, if set, must be disclosed to viewers before the auction begins.
- Shill bidding (friends bidding to inflate price) is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent ban.
6. Chat & Community
- Streamers are responsible for moderating their own chat.
- Streamers may block or remove any viewer from their chat at any time.
- Hate speech, harassment, threats, or discrimination of any kind will result in account suspension.
- Spamming, advertising external services, or posting links to competitors is not permitted.
- Waevin moderators may intervene in any stream where community guidelines are being violated.
7. Payments & Escrow
- All payments from stream auctions and pack break slots are processed through Waevin's secure payment system.
- Funds are held in escrow and released to your wallet once the buyer confirms delivery.
- Waevin charges buyers a small Buyer Protection fee — streamers receive 100% of their listed price.
- Withdrawals are subject to the standard Waevin wallet and payout terms.
- Chargebacks or payment disputes are handled under the main Waevin dispute resolution process.
8. Content & Copyright
- You retain ownership of your stream content.
- By streaming on Waevin Live, you grant Waevin a licence to display, store, and promote your content.
- Waevin does not retain stream recordings — live inputs are deleted after 24 hours.
- Do not play copyrighted music, films, or other media in the background of your stream without the necessary licences.
- Trading card artwork is the intellectual property of the respective game publishers.
9. Enforcement
- Violations of these guidelines may result in stream termination, account suspension, or permanent ban.
- Serious violations — including fraud, shill bidding, or illegal activity — will be reported to the relevant authorities.
- Waevin reserves the right to terminate any stream at any time without prior notice.
- Banned streamers may appeal by contacting Waevin support. Appeals are reviewed within 10 working days.
- Waevin's decisions on enforcement matters are final.
10. Changes to These Guidelines
- Waevin may update these guidelines at any time. Streamers will be notified of material changes by email.
- Continued use of Waevin Live after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised guidelines.
- The current version of these guidelines is always available at waevin.com/live-guidelines.
