Why we exist
The secondary TCG market has always relied on platforms that were built for everything — clothes, electronics, furniture — and adapted for cards as an afterthought. The result is seller fees that eat into tight margins, buyer protections that barely cover TCG-specific issues like misgraded condition, and listing flows that require you to type in every detail by hand.
We built Waevin to do one thing well: help UK collectors buy and sell trading cards with confidence. That means automatic card identification so listing takes seconds, not minutes. Escrow that actually holds until you confirm your card is what was described. Condition grades that match TCG community standards. And zero fees on the seller side — because people selling from their collections shouldn't be penalised for it.
We're UK-only by design. All data lives in UK datacentres. All payments are processed in GBP with UK buyer protection built in. Every account requires two-factor authentication. We made these decisions deliberately, not as afterthoughts.

Buyer protection on every order
Every purchase is covered. Funds are held in escrow from the moment you pay and only released to the seller once you confirm your card has arrived in the condition described.
Privacy by design
All personal data is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. Your information lives in UK datacentres, is never sold to third parties, and is handled in full compliance with UK GDPR.
Built for speed
Our TCG API integration pulls card names, set info, and images automatically. You can list a card in under a minute — no manual data entry, no faff.
Zero seller fees
We charge buyers a transparent Buyer Protection fee. Sellers receive exactly what they list for — no commission, no listing fees, no hidden deductions.
Encrypted messaging
Every conversation between buyers and sellers is end-to-end encrypted. Your messages are yours — we never read them unless you raise a dispute.
Community trust
Every completed transaction can leave verified feedback. Our ratings system is tied to real purchases, so you always know who you're dealing with.

Find a card
Search or browse listings across Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, and Topps Chrome. Filter by condition, price, set, and seller rating.
Buy or make an offer
Buy at the listed price, or send a private offer to the seller. Negotiate through our encrypted messaging system.
Pay securely
Stripe handles your payment. Your money goes into escrow — the seller doesn't receive a penny until your card arrives safely.
Card arrives, funds release
Confirm delivery and the funds are automatically released. If anything's wrong, raise a dispute and our team steps in within 72 working hours.
