Zero seller fees

Seller Guide

Everything you need to know to start selling on Waevin. No commission, no listing fees — you keep every penny of your sale price.

How selling works

01

Set up your account

Register, verify your email, and enable two-factor authentication — it's mandatory on all accounts. Then head to your dashboard to set up your store: choose a store name, write a short bio, and add your shipping address. The address is used to calculate postage quotes for buyers at checkout.

02

Create your first listing

Search for your card by name or set. Our TCG API integration pulls the card image, set details, and card number automatically. Choose the condition grade that matches your card honestly, set your price, upload 1–8 photos of the actual card, and publish. The whole process takes under two minutes.

03

Take great photos

Good photos make a huge difference. Photograph your card in natural or bright white light. Include a front shot, a back shot, and close-ups of any notable flaws. Buyers can request a dispute if the item is not as described — honest photos protect you as much as them.

04

Manage your listings

View all your active listings in your dashboard. You can edit price, condition, and description at any time, provided the card has not been purchased. Deactivate a listing to temporarily hide it without deleting it.

05

Ship within 3 working days

Once a buyer purchases your card, you'll be notified immediately. Buy and print the shipping label directly from your order page — the buyer has already chosen and paid for the service. Pack the card securely (toploader + sleeve, please) and drop it with the carrier within 3 working days.

06

Get paid

Funds land in your Waevin wallet once the buyer confirms delivery or the 48-hour auto-release window passes. Connect your UK bank account via Stripe and withdraw your available balance whenever you like — no minimum, no delay beyond the bank's own processing time.

Condition grades

Use these definitions when grading your cards. Overstating condition is the most common reason for disputes — when in doubt, grade down.

M

Mint

Flawless. No marks, scratches, whitening, or print defects. Essentially unplayed.

NM

Near Mint

Minor handling marks only, visible under very close inspection. Still excellent condition.

EX

Excellent

Light play wear — minor edge scuffs or surface scratches. Card is still clean and presentable.

GD

Good

Moderate play wear — visible scratches, edge whitening, or creasing. Clearly played.

PL

Played

Heavy wear — creases, heavy whitening, or scuffs. May affect shuffleability.

PR

Poor

Severely damaged — tears, heavy creasing, or water damage. Listed for completeness only.

Seller rules

  • Only list items you own and have the right to sell.
  • Grade your cards accurately. Overstating condition is grounds for a dispute ruling against you.
  • Photos must be of the actual item — not stock images or photos of a different copy.
  • Dispatch within 3 working days of payment confirmation.
  • All shipments must use tracked postage — untracked deliveries are not covered by Buyer Protection.
  • No counterfeit cards, proxy cards, or unlawfully modified cards. Zero-tolerance policy: permanent suspension and possible reporting to Trading Standards.
